What it is

TA100S-L is a 4G cellular trail camera with a built-in cellular module and SIM card slot. It detects movement, captures stills or video, and pushes the files to your phone over 4G, keeping a full copy on the local SD card.

Who it's for

Hunters and game watchers, wildlife monitoring projects, farm and forestry crews, and outdoor security sites with no mains power or network cable. It also suits distributors who need a complete 4G package with antenna and app included.

What it solves

Knowing what happened at a site you are not standing at. Remote live view and on-demand capture replace scheduled card swaps; GPS alerts catch a camera being moved or stolen; infrared imaging covers the hours when nothing is visible; and 4G with battery or solar power keeps remote sites running without a cable.

Key features — and what they buy you

1. 4G cellular with app live view → check the site from your phone and decide whether a trip is worth making.

2. 24MP / 12MP / 8MP stills → resolve detail on distant small targets, or step down when card space is tight.

3. 0.5s trigger speed, 20m PIR range, 60° angle → fast-moving animals and running people are far less likely to be missed.

4. 54pcs 940nm invisible infrared, automatic day/night → night captures do not disturb game and leave no glare spot in frame.

5. 1080P or 720P H.265 video, 3–10 second clips → smaller files at the same quality, so a 32GB card stretches further.

6. On-demand photo and video requests → get the frame you need now instead of waiting for the next passive trigger.

7. GPS positioning with movement alert → a push notification if the camera is moved or stolen.

8. IP66 sealing, −20°C to 55°C → keeps working through rain, snow, dust and hard cold without frequent site visits.

9. Thumbnail transmission, SD cycle overwrite, 1–99 daily limit → spend less mobile data and stop wasting card space.

How it differs from a standard trail camera

A conventional camera keeps its footage on the SD card until you collect it, so a problem may go unnoticed for days. TA100S-L sends that footage to your phone as it is captured, lets you trigger a capture remotely, and reports its own displacement. The trade-off: it needs a SIM card and 4G coverage, and draws more power while live mode is on.

Limitations

Live preview runs at 720P, not 1080P, and live preview plus HD retrieval require app data packages. The microphone is one-way — you can hear the site but there is no remote talk-back. Night-vision range depends on how much the scene reflects infrared, so open ground yields outlines only; no fixed night-vision distance is published. The camera ignores app commands in SETUP mode, answers remote requests only once every 24 hours by default, and accepts SD cards up to 32GB. USB transfers data but does not charge. A solar panel is not included.

Quick answers

Does it need an app? Yes — register an account and scan the camera's QR code to pair; all settings are then made in the app.

How long does the battery last? With 12 AA alkaline cells and 4G off: roughly 67–71 days by day, 115–148 days at night. Live mode shortens this; DC 9–12V or a 7.4V 18650 cell also works, with the solar panel sold separately.

Warranty: one year from purchase.
